Vero

/ˈvɛr.oʊ/
VEH-roh
Latin, from vērus
adj. true; real; genuine.

Vero is the firm courageous leaders call when the tried and true stops being true.

We believe

Three convictions guide the work.

01

Humans are the most important part.

Human experience isn't a soft variable sitting apart from organizational performance. It is the engine of it.

02

Leaders want to do a good job.

Given clarity about the real situation and the tools to act on it, remarkable things happen. Structure, incentives, history, and unintended behavior routinely produce the opposite of what was intended.

03

The truth matters and the evidence decides.

Nobody gets to a better outcome by hearing a tidy version of the truth designed for comfort and a contract renewal. We do not soften a finding because it is uncomfortable, and we do not dramatize a data point past what it supports.

Leadership

Research without operating experience can produce findings that are technically correct and practically useless. Operating instinct without rigorous data produces confident answers that are sometimes wrong. Complex problems need both. We have been in the seat, sat across from the seat, studied the seat, and supported the seat.

We aren't for everyone. That's by design.

We work with a small number of clients so that we can fully customize our approach and engage at the level needed for true organizational transformation. There are plenty of options for a standard approach, a packaged assessment, and a report that checks the box. That is not us. If that is what you're looking for, we can help you find the right fit.

The leaders we work with have usually tried the retreat, done the survey, hired the coach. If you have already tried to solve this in other ways and you are not making progress, there is probably a story behind the story.

At Vero, we don't sell a senior-level engagement and deliver a junior-level experience.

They are built for scale. We are built for you.

Ready to try something different?

Tell us what you're working on, and we'll tell you honestly whether this is the right fit. If it isn't, we'll help you find one that is.
